Biography

Emily Harting joined the development department at the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) in November 2005 as a Foundation Relations Officer.  Prior to CCR, Emily was the Development Manager for the New York-based Global Nomads Group, an international NGO that creates interactive educational programs for students about issues of global concern; a Development Associate for the National Voting Rights Institute, a campaign finance reform organization formerly in Boston that is now a project of Demos; and worked in the development department at the New England regional office of the Trust for Public Land. Emily has also served as an organizer/fundraiser for various Green and Progressive candidates in national, state and local races; has served on the boards of/volunteered for numerous progressive political and social justice causes; organizes fundraising events/parties for various NGOs and does copy editing for NYC based RTC Publicity.  She graduated from Trinity College in 1999 with a B.A. in Political Science.
