Biography

Claire Tixeire joined the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) in the summer of 2004. She works at CCR in collaboration with the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), based in Paris, to which CCR is a member affiliate. Claire is a law graduate from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris. She also achieved a Diploma of International Law at the University of Kent at Canterbury and an LLM in International Law at the University of Quebec at Montreal, specializing in international human rights and international criminal law. After working for the International Legal Resources Center in Montreal, which provides legal aid to torture and war crimes survivors seeking refuge in Canada, she achieved a Masters in Human Rights and Public Liberties at the University of Nanterre, Paris X.
