Silent protest during a Senate hearing on Guantanamo Bay.

As CCR works on advocacy initiatives around human and civil rights issues, we often need to call on the public to urge policymakers to do the right thing. CCR’s “Action Alerts” have added thousands of signatures to petitions we have sent on to the State Department, the White House, the Department of Justice and elsewhere and our supporters have made phones ring off the hook during critical comment periods in State Assemblies, local City Councils, the U.S. Congress and beyond.

The importance of these actions to our work cannot be overstated. Please sign up for periodic emails from CCR that will both update you about our work and alert you when there is an opportunity to get involved.
