The University of Dayton is hosting the biennial conference The Social Practice of Human Rights: Charting the Frontiers of Research and Advocacy on October 1-3, 2015. This three-day conference will provide a unique space for scholars, practitioners and advocates to engage in collaboration, dialogue and critical analysis of human rights advocacy, locally and globally. CCR's Nahal Zamani and Katherine Gallagher have been invited to speak about their work in the following sessions:

Taking on the NYPD by Centering the Impact and Building a Movement: A Successful Human Rights Campaign Case Study presented by CCR Advocacy Program Manager Nahal Zamani. Friday, October 2nd at 8:45-10:15 a.m.

Plenary Dialogue: Corporate Sustanibility with CCR Senior Staff Attorney Katherine Gallagher, David Schilling of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility and Arvind Ganesan of Human Rights Watch. Saturday, October 3rd at 1:45-3:15 p.m. in the Auditorium of 1700 Patterson Building.
