Panel Discussion with CPR: Stop & Frisk and Impact of NYPD Policies on Communities

CCR Legal Worker Ian Head will speak on a panel with fellow organizers from Picture the Homeless, Immigrant Defense Project and Peoples' Justice for Community Control and Police Accountability on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:00 pm. 

The panel will discuss community organizing efforts, the Communities United for Police Reform Campaign and the Floyd v. the City of New York class-action lawsuit. They will also discuss the Community Safety Act, a package of landmark legislation introduced by Communities United for Police Reform which works to bring real accountability to the NYPD.

This event is free and open to the public.
