On September 1, the state of California reached a settlement to end indeterminate solitary confinement statewide. This historic victory deserves to be celebrated!

Please join CCR and all of those who made this victory possible! Jules Lobel, CCR President and lead counsel in Ashker v. Governor of California will answer questions about the settlement and discuss next steps.

This success would not have happened without the prisoners themselves, their families and thousands of advocates and allies working together. Let’s gather and celebrate the work and all of the people who made this day happen.

Refreshments will be served.

This event is co-sponsored by California Families to Abolish Solitary Confinement (CFASC), Family Unity Network, and the National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT).
