Capital Campaign Manager

Elizabeth Geertsema is the Capital Campaign Manager at the Center for Constitutional Rights. She has a passion for philanthropy, human rights, and social justice and brings a decade of experience and expertise within the non-profit sector, specializing in fundraising for capital and comprehensive campaigns. 

Prior to the Center for Constitutional Rights, Elizabeth worked at Moorfields Eye Charity in London raising major gifts for their capital campaign to build a new eye hospital in the King’s Cross area. Before Moorfields, she helped secure major gifts for organizations across the human rights, health, education, and humanitarian sectors while a director at CCS Fundraising in New York, London, and Paris. In these campaign roles, she held various positions overseeing fundraising planning and managing major campaigns, including directing Amnesty International USA’s Comprehensive Campaign.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with a minor in Italian Language from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
