CCR Issues Letter to Immigration Subcommittee Urging Termination of Secure Communities

Yesterday, CCR Legal Director, Baher Azmy, issued a letter to the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Immigration Policy and Enforcement urging an end to the controversial Secure Communities program, calling it a "shield for rogue police departments and bad cops," and condemning the program because it"tears apart families and neighborhoods of hard-working immigrants in cities and towns across the country."
