Synopsis

This case, Seeds of Peace v. City of Pittsburgh, USDC W.D. PA, was filed on behalf of activists harassed by the police in the days before the G20 summit in Pittsburgh. It is related to the Codepink Pittsburgh Women for Peace, et. al v. US Secret Service, et al, filed by CCR and the ACLU before the G20 summit and associated protests.

Status

September 22, 2009.  Action for injunction and damages on behalf of activists harassed by police in days before G20.  ACLU of Pennsylvania is co-counsel.  USDC denied injunctive relief at TRO hearing.  Court reserved damages issues for post-protest.
