Please join us for a special evening with world-renowned Palestinian human rights defenders Raji Sourani and Shawan Jabarin, and Columbia University scholar Rashid Khalidi. Raji and Shawan will provide timely perspectives from the ground in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and discuss ongoing efforts to protect basic human rights. They will discuss current struggles for accountability for widespread violations, including before the International Criminal Court, and the future facing Palestinians. Rashid Khalidi will address the role of U.S. policy towards Israel and Palestine in exacerbating the critical situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. CCR Board Chair and Columbia Law School Professor Katherine Franke will moderate, with introductory remarks by CCR Executive Director Vince Warren. Watch an online livestream of the event here!
